NOTE: At first, I assumed that this Patrick might be from the Irish “Earner” families, but I have since heard that there is supposed to have been an “Arner” immigrant from Germany who settled in Ireland. If that is true (which I haven’t yet been able to confirm), then this family might be related to some of the German “Arner” families.

Patrick H.1 Arner, born about March 1827 in Ireland;  apparently died before the 1910 census possibly in Wisconsin [but there is a Patrick Arner who died 24 February 1910 aged 85 years at Chicago, Cook, Illinois (Illinois State Death Index) who might be the same one; however, there is also a Patrick H. Arner who died 26 January 1912 in Rock County, Wisconsin and was buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery (Janesville Daily Gazette, 1912 Death Index)];  married about 1854 to Mary Milvoy who was born about May 1831 in Ireland.
