After a few days on Canada's Sunshine Coast, we headed for Eastern Washington. Here we are at the Stampede Ground campground in Omak, WA.

We watched lighting strike this tree, peeling off a large section and catching it on fire! (Luckily the fire went out after a few hours.) Note the scorched bark at the top of the photo.
