Camping Beef Stroganoff adapted from Betty Crocker 1 lb beef 1 cup chopped white onion 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 8oz package button mushrooms, sliced (you can also use drained jarred mushrooms) 1 pinch black pepper 8 oz. sour cream Cooked egg noodles Brown the beef. Drain if ground beef, leave about 1 tablespoon of fat. Add onion and cook until onion is soft, 15-20 minutes. There should be no crunch. Add mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup and heat through. Season with black pepper to taste. Stir in the sour cream and mix well.
