Bahia Honda State Park, 40 miles north of Key West, is the only natural sand, palm-fringed beach of any length in the Florida Keys. The water in the Keys is a lovely mix of turquoise, green, and blue. Sky color, suspended solids, the angle of the sun, sea grass beds, and lime from the coral reef create this palette.
